Where the Veil is Thin-Sheryl

“Whenever a man turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” (2 Cor. 3:16,17)

“Anxiety takes away from today and hinders your relationships and freedom.  Think about today and what I have for you in it.  Trust Me for tomorrow.”

I am trying to do that, Lord.  I can in my head but my heart and body need to feel it, too.  I am trying to plan what tasks I may have to do tomorrow while only concentrating on today.  Please help me, be present in today and with today’s people.

I wasn’t expecting to be in the jungle today…I am not afraid because I know You are near, but I can’t get out of here without You.

“Turn right.”

Turning right–as I lift some vines I am right at the edge of the clearing, the glade.  It looked like I was surrounded by jungle, but openness and freedom was only a couple feet away.

“So it ever is.  I AM with you always.  Hear My voice.  Follow My direction and you will find yourself walking in freedom.  Stop, clear your mind.  Let peace come to your heart and listen.  It is not I who put up the walls.  My veil is thin because I want to be found by you.  You need but to desire Me, seek Me.  Calm yourself, listen.  I will draw you to the edge of the spring where we can sit and listen to the waterfall.  Living water, peace, rest, the reflecting pool, and My Presence are here for you.  Come by often.  I love you.”
